Marjorie Bailey is the Corporate Practice Lead and CFO Consultant at Greenough Consulting Group (GCG). She is a member of the firm's executive committee, where she oversees GCG corporate clients including client sourcing, engagement execution and service, and relationship management.
Marjorie has more than 25 years of business experience including public accounting, private and public industries. She has reported to Board of Directors, developed disciplines in forecasting, led and developed strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth. Marjorie advised audit clients through M&A due diligence, and successful deal closings. She developed processes, systems to provide timely GAAP financials, KPIs, and business analysis.
Prior to GCG, Marjorie was the CFO of Elder Care Alliance, where she oversaw the company's financial, accounting, IT, treasury, legal, acquisition and risk management functions. During this time, she raised $25 million in construction financing and $35 million in acquisitions. Previously Marjorie was a partner at Marcum LLP, and the CFO of a public and private companies.
Marjorie has been active for over 20 years with the League of Women Voters in San Francisco, California and the United States as a participant on the audit committee. She has also been teaching for 15 years and is now at UC Berkeley, in the extension program for Accounting.
