HR COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:

Provides recruiting, human resource administration and client support.  The position is roughly split into thirds.

    • New hire orientations – preparing materials, scheduling meetings and setting agenda for new hire

Qualifications:

Require knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and personnel information systems.  BA/BS degree in HR or Business with HR concentration or equivalent experience with at least two years related experience. PHR Certification a plus.

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and HR terminology.

Applicants must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational, analytical and communications skills.  Be able to handle multiple tasks and interact effectively with all levels of the company, vendors, and clients.

ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Responsibilities:
For our clients, manage all accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, project accounting and fixed assets, as well as the cash management and tax compliance areas. Establish effective controls, policies and systems. Provide records for assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports covering sales, earning, profits, cash balances, and other financial result in accordance with GAAP. Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers of the company, financial statements, bank reconciliation, general tax reports and year-end close. May manage lower level professional accountants or clerks through subordinate supervisors. Manage vendor relationships. Interpret financial aspects of loan documents. Monitor bank account balances and transfers funds between accounts. Handle all wire transfers. Prepare payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Perform special projects as requested.

Qualifications:
• BS/BA in accounting or finance or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related experience and at least one year in a supervisory position.
• CPA or MBA a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP and solid accounting, finance and analytical skills.
• Systems and operational skills, including proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Written and oral communication, including ability to communicate effectively with non-financial managers and all levels of personnel.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Energetic, flexible team player with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple shifting priorities. Able to stay organized and focused in a hectic environment.

CONTROLLER
Responsibilities: 
For our clients, be responsible for controlling accounting operations, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing financial reports for the organization. Direct the activities of general accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls. Prepare and interpret accounting and financial data to measure financial condition of organization. Develop and direct long-range planning operations for the organization, formulate business plans and strategies to achieve corporate goals and objectives. Monitor such factors as mergers/acquisitions, market condition, and corporate organization to measure impact on long-range plans. Propose prospective business acquisitions and divestitures.

Manage audit and tax preparation; and monitor the design/implementation of new accounting & financial planning systems. Assist auditing firms; develop systems for internal controls, work with insurance brokers and providers of product and general liability insurance; and develop and maintain relationships with product distribution vendors. May also supervise the human resources function.

Qualifications:
• BA/BS in accounting or finance or equivalent with 5+ years in accounting and financial management, ideally with 2+ years as a controller in a high growth company or a senior position in a Big 5 accounting firm.
• MBA/CPA preferred.
• Experience with GAAP and SEC requirements; financial and administrative policy development and design of internal control structures. Experience with initial and secondary public offering process.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and management skills.
• Human resources and benefits administration experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple shifting priorities. Able to stay organized and focused in a hectic environment.

CFO
Responsibilities:
For our clients, the CFO will provide financial leadership in evaluating strategic partnerships and investment opportunities and structuring deals with joint venture, strategic alliance and other strategic partners. This individual will oversee the financial requirements of business strategy proactively setting operational direction through financial analysis, support, and systems. The candidate will be accountable for cash flow management and financing the company. Responsible for tax & growth strategies as well as standard accounting functions (AR/AP/GL/, etc.), legal/contracts, facilities, HR, and purchasing. Key responsibilities of leading and managing the financial affairs for our clients include:

• Providing financial and analytical support and business judgment to the company’s tactical and strategic decisions in the operations, marketing, and growth arenas
• Identifying and managing the overall financial needs of the company, including cash flow management strategies and identifying areas for improvement
• Proactively leading the business analysis, administration, and planning functions
• Assisting in vendor negotiations for beneficial terms
• Leading and managing the control function, integrating systems with controls
• Developing appropriate financial models to help direct the business
• Preparing financial reports and making presentations to senior management, investors and the Board of Directors
• Planning and executing financial “road shows” to potential investors
• Upon going public, working closely with security analysts and handling all investor relations issues. Responsible for all SEC reporting matters

Qualifications:
BS/BA in accounting or finance or equivalent with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of related financial experience with exposure to equity financing, the IPO process, and involvement with a growing entrepreneurial company.

• CPA, MBA and/or JD helpful.
• SEC reporting experience in a public company is highly desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-management environment.
• Must be bright, energetic, have a strong sense of urgency, and hold a high regard for personal responsibility and accountability.
