Mark Greenough
President and Founder
Mark began his consulting career at Ernst and Young in 1980 and has worked with hundreds of companies, from the early stage start up, to the Fortune 500.
In recent years, his primary focus has been mentoring management teams through the venture process and providing services for the managing directors of the venture funds that support them.
Some of Mark’s accomplishments include:
- Private Equity - led the spin out of a $400m corporate captured venture fund as an independent enterprise.
- Late Stage Company – prepared and sold a fax distribution company for $50m, (a 3x increase in valuation) within 18 months.
- Retail - Within 6 months, overhauled a dysfunctional accounting function for a $0.5BN retailer with 400 outlets
- Startup Companies - annually raise $15m-$25m in venture funds as a part of portfolio company management teams
Mark holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Oregon, a BS in Finance and Accounting from the Oregon State University and is also a certified public accountant.
